A Post Is Not A Vote - Getting 1.3 million Gen Z to register to vote
As the creative for the "A Post Is Not A Vote" campaign by Snapchat, I spearheaded an initiative aimed at engaging young people in the democratic process by encouraging voter registration. Tasked with conceptualizing and executing the campaign, I took charge of art direction, design application, and agency management. Notably, this endeavor unfolded amidst the challenges of the pandemic, necessitating remote collaboration and innovative production solutions. Despite these hurdles, we successfully filmed across four states, coordinating with small crews from home to ensure safety while maintaining production quality.
Empowering Voices: A Design Journey Inspired by Protest Posters and Printing Press Artistry
Drawing inspiration from the bold aesthetics of protest posters and the raw authenticity of printing press artistry, the design direction I introduced for the "A Post Is Not A Vote" campaign permeated across various media channels within Snapchat. From impactful Paid Media Ads to engaging In-App Creatives and compelling Videos and Commercials, every piece resonated with the spirit of social activism and grassroots advocacy. Moreover, I introduced creative tools within the Snapchat platform, empowering users to actively participate in the movement. These collective efforts culminated in an astounding outcome, registering 1.3 million young people to vote.
